We continued our journey of experiencing Zoe's "firsts" by celebrating Zoe's first Easter! Both of Zoe's grandmothers came to town to spend Easter with us. It was a good weekend. We had Zoe's picture taken with the Easter bunny on Saturday. I couldn't get her to smile to save my life, but it was still fun. We also took Zoe to church for the first time since her birth, and she was great. It was nice to be back in church after two months. Zoe was overstimulated from the weekend's events. By Sunday afternoon she was pretty fussy, and she fell asleep two hours before her usual bedtime. Poor thing!
We bought a new camera, so here are some pictures:
Oh my gosh! Are those eyes really that blue???? Oh wow....she is going to be one of those lucky girls that has dark skin and bright blue eyes. I've always wished I had that combination! So lucky she is! Those pictures are simply gorgeous by the way. You have to enter her into some baby modeling contests...she is too cute.
I am a sixth-year attorney at a large, international law firm. I am married to a wonderful man who is a pilot (both commercial and with the Navy Reserves). My husband and I welcomed our beautiful daughter, Zoe, into our lives February 6, 2009, and our precious son, Zachary, on March 29, 2011.
